Spikes Bloom Too (2024)

Sometimes spikes blind you from your blooms :

Inspired by seeing blooming Sticker Weeds, I found out that stickers bloom into flowers and these blooms grow into seeds. From this realization, I thought how misunderstood they are, painful when we step on them but it seems that’s how we are sometimes. Just as we can hold defensive spikes, with time we realize it’s worth it to bloom than it is to peek behind the sheltered spikes. Often misunderstood, one by one our spikes will bloom.
