It All Flows Back To You | 2025 | at Dean Street Gallery, Downtown Tampa, Florida
A figure uses a watering can to nourish the Hillsborough river below as it sours through the sky. Its fuel for flight consists of a beetle on the figure's back mimicking a jetpack. Insects provide tremendous inspiration for Sham and is a major source of creative fuel; the beetle being the jetpack signifies Sham's own fuel for artistic flight. The waves and water droplets surrounding the figure include references to the minarets seen atop the University of Tampa located next door to the mural.
What You Nourish is What You Grow | 2025 | at Artmosphere Gallery, Saint Petersburg, Florida
This mural depicts the ever flowing results of getting what you give. The visitors and artists who enter through the flow are nourished by this idea representing giving all they have to their creative energy making evolution unmistakably evident. A sphere is incorporated symbolizing the artists and guests from around the world who work within the studios housed at Artmosphere.
Water You. It Splashes Onto Others Too | 2025 | at Artmosphere Gallery, Saint Petersburg, Florida
This mural represents the importance of taking care of and looking after oneself to have better and richer connections with people and nature. The figure uses a watering can to pour nourishing droplets into itself dripping into an elephant leaf seen on the bottom right. Instead of the drops sitting atop the leaf, they cascade evolving into splashes of abstracted birds; when one waters themselves, the water takes flight outwards.
Let the Sight of the Stars Make You Dream | 2025 | at Tampa Theatre, Downtown Tampa, Florida
This piano depicts the starry filled essence of not only the theatre but also the River Arts District of Tampa. She utilized their theme colors and logo of white, yellow, and stars. The piano was originally black and select parts of the original piano peek through to allow this to shine too. The piano will be open for everyone to play March 1 - March 31 in honor of National Music Month.
Stay Watered | 2024 | at Marcolina's Gallery, Ybor City, Florida
Sham witnessed a Rhinoceros Beetle takes shelter under an Elephant Ear Leaf during a downpour. She felt the beetle had finally found protection after a lengthy journey amidst chaos. Peacefully standing strong, the beetle carries raindrops on its shell, each drop building a slippery surface for future ones. Raindrops may fall on our armor but at least now they eventually roll off.
